Platform scorecard: what six surveillance vendors publish

Five questions a buyer can answer before talking to anyone, asked of six disease surveillance platforms. Every answer below carries the page it came from, the HTTP status that page returned, and the date it was checked, so you can re-run the check yourself and get the same answer — or catch us being wrong.

Read this first. This scorecard is published by ENCLAI, and one of the six platforms on it — ENCLAI — is ours and is sold for money. That is a real conflict of interest and you should read every row with it in mind. The only thing that makes publishing our own row defensible is that every platform is scored by the identical automated procedure, from its own public pages, with no manual override available for any row including ours. We do not score quality, accuracy, or value. We score only what a vendor does or does not publish, because that is the part you can check without our help.

The scorecard

Checked 2026-11-02. “Not published” means we could not find such a page in the vendor’s own sitemap and none of the conventional paths we probe for every platform returned one. It does not mean the vendor has no such document privately.

How each answer was produced

For each platform we fetched the vendor's own published sitemap, enumerated the pages they index, and looked for a page of each type. Where one was found we fetched it and recorded its HTTP status. A pricing page was additionally tested for the presence of a currency figure. Nothing behind a login, a sales contact or an accepted terms page was examined. Where a vendor's sitemap could not be fetched, every cell for that vendor is marked unverified and is not scored.

Where this method can be wrong, stated plainly.

Corrections

If a cell here is wrong — including if we have missed a page you publish — tell us and we will correct it and date the correction. Vendors named on this page may ask for a correction at any time and we will act on it. ENCLAI is not affiliated with, endorsed by or in partnership with any organisation named here; product and organisation names are used only to identify what is being compared, and all trademarks belong to their owners.

Correction, 2026-11-02: an earlier version of the comparison page stated that GIDEON’s pricing URLs returned HTTP 404. That was wrong. GIDEON publishes a pricing page at gideononline.com/plans/ which returns HTTP 200; it states no figure and directs the reader to book a demo. The corrected finding is “page exists, no figure”, which is what this scorecard now records.
